CION has launched its call for submissions for the 2020 edition of the Northern Ontario Songwriters Challenge. This year's songwriting mentors are Meg Remy from U.S. Girls and Jasmyn Burke from Weaves, along with Matt Wiewel from Deadpan Studios.
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 event will take place entirely online. While this is a change from previous versions of the event, the Northern Ontario Songwriters Challenge still promises to develop up-and-coming songwriters. Participants will also learn entirely new skills relating to collaborating and recording over distances.
To participate you will need an up-to-date computer and a high speed internet.
