Residents are invited to one of two virtual open houses to view and provide feedback on the changes on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and the second, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., both via Microsoft Teams.

Prior to a recommendation to Council, the Planning Committee will hold a public hearing to receive the views of the public on Monday, February 9, 2026 beginning at 1 p.m. in the Council Chamber and via electronic participation, Lionel E Lalonde, 239 Montee Principale, Azilda. The Media and the general public can view the Planning Committee webcast via the City of Greater Sudbury. livestream: greatersudbury.ca/agendas. 

Participate in the Planning Process 

The public is able to participate in Public Hearings in-person or via electronic participation. There are several ways in which the general public can provide submissions to the Members of the Planning Committee and Council for the February 9, 2026 meeting, as follows: 

• Attend in person: Attend in person by attending the Council Chamber, Lionel E Lalonde, 239 Montee Principale, Azilda; 
• Submit comments in writing: Submit comments in writing to the City of Greater Sudbury, City Clerk, Box 5000, Station A, Sudbury, Ontario, P3A 5P3, prior to this meeting or by email to clerks@greatersudbury.ca. Comments received by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026 will be provided to Members of the Planning Committee and Council prior to the meeting; and/or, 
• Register to speak at the Committee Meeting via electronic participation: Please go to the City of Greater Sudbury website at greatersudbury.ca/publichearings for instructions to register for electronic participation. Interested members must register prior to 4:00 p.m. one business day prior to the date of the hearing. 

The Staff Report and recommendations will also be available on the City’s website at agendasonline.greatersudbury.ca on January 30, 2026.
