With the adoption of the French Language Services Policy in 2001, the City of Greater Sudbury committed to offering services in French, with a few exceptions, including technical documents. This means that residents may communicate with the municipality in the language of their choice.
The 311 and Customer Service section is looking to get a sense of departments’ awareness of French Language Services, current procedures and processes, and potential areas for improvement.
Please take a few minutes to answer the survey below to let us know more about how our organization and employees interact with French speaking residents. The results of the survey will help guide a revised French Language Services Policy, as directed by Council, to assess appropriate resources and supports for employees, to ensure we are providing quality services that meet the needs of our residents and community partners.
