Join our Virtual Open House

Earlier this year, the City of Greater Sudbury hosted an engagement campaign to ask you to imagine Junction East. Your feedback provided us with many common themes that are guiding the design of this facility.

The architectural team has taken these themes and developed a conceptual design for Junction East.

We are hosting a Virtual Open House and hope you will join us. This is an opportunity to get a walk-through of the design by the architectural team, ask questions and provide your input.

Closed captioning is available. If you require any accommodations please email largeprojects@greatersudbury.ca or call 705-674-4455 ext. 2535.

Help with Technology

The link below provides information on how to use Microsoft Teams, the platform we will be using during the Open House:

Once the Open House session begins, we will be providing you with instructions and support to ensure you can participate.

Open House Etiquette

  • Be respectful and courteous to all participants and facilitators in the session.
  • Be mindful of whether or not you are dominating the conversation(s) - we want everyone to have an opportunity to share.
  • One conversation at a time; use the “hand-up” feature and wait for the facilitator to invite you to speak.
  • Defer judgement. Creative spaces are judgement-free zones; they let ideas flow so people can build from each other’s ideas.
  • Stay focused on the topic.
  • Please speak clearly at a slower pace for participants using Closed Captioning.
  • Please mute when you are not speaking.
  • Video use is not required, and only if you are comfortable. Please ensure appropriate background and attire
