Significant Weather Event Community Survey

The City of Greater Sudbury is reviewing its response to the March 2026 Significant Weather Event.

During this event, severe and prolonged winter conditions affected roads, transit, emergency response, waste collection and other municipal services. While internal reviews are a routine part of the City’s emergency management process, City Council has directed staff to undertake a more detailed review of this event, including gathering community feedback, solutions and ideas for improving the City’s response to future significant weather events.

This survey will help the City better understand residents’ experiences, identify what worked well, and find opportunities to improve operations, service updates and emergency communications.

The survey should take about five to 10 minutes to complete.

Feedback will be reviewed to identify themes and possible improvements. Individual service requests, complaints about specific addresses or requests for compensation will not be addressed through this survey. For service requests, please contact 311.
