Youth: Greater Together

Mayor Brian Bigger invites residents to come together to share inspiration, support and hope during these unprecedented times.

We know physical distancing to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult, especially for young people who are usually active outside the home.

Many organizations have strengthened their online presence in response to these times. The City of Greater Sudbury is doing its part by gathering resources and activities from across the web to make it easier for children and youth to find what they need to stay healthy and informed.

Check Important Links and the City of Greater Sudbury website at www.greatersudbury.ca/COVID for information. Stay connected by helping others, sharing your creativity or by asking questions. We're here to help.

Stay safe. Stay informed. Stay positive. We’ll get through this together.

Road mortality is a leading threat to turtle populations in Ontario. Thanks to the Turtle Guardians we have the resources for citizens in Greater Sudbury to help conserve local populations. Road Researchers survey for turtles on designated roads throughout the summer. The data collected is used to identify turtle 'hot spots' and where to concentrate conservation efforts to reduce turtle road morality. Training and resources are provided!
