2020 Budget
The municipal budget is the City’s business plan for the year.
It describes the costs and revenues associated with delivering municipal services and enables residents to build an understanding about how taxes are used to invest in new infrastructure, repair existing assets and provide daily services that significantly impact the quality of life of residents in Greater Sudbury.

It's a given: we get crazy amounts of snow, sometimes out of nowhere. The city should not have to shut down because of the awful plowing system. Sidewalks should not be piled with snow, risking pedestrians lives because we all know people in this city stop thinking when that white stuff hits the ground. This city can be quite accessible in the summer but come winter, leaving ones home is asking whatever god you believe in to not let you get hit by a car in Sudbury. I shouldn't have to walk on the road because there is no sidewalk, or trudge through foot-deep barriers crossing major intersections. I'm lucky to be young, but what hell kind of sign is that to people with accessibility issues, who use wheelchairs or walkers?
