Implementation Next steps include the preparation of an implementation plan for the identified infrastructure upgrades in the strategic employment areas identified in the Strategy, including a Business Case to undertake Detailed Design as part of the 2023 budget and implementation of the land use planning recommendations identified in the strategy including:
Developing an Employment Land Community Improvement Plan (CIP) for Council’s consideration in 2023;
Preparing Official Plan amendments as part of Phase 2 of the five-year review of the Official Plan and Zoning amendments for Council’s consideration in 2023. Staff would like to obtain feedback on the draft CIP.
