Kalmo Beach 10-Year Plan

Kalmo Beach is located on Whitson Lake at 2630 Sandy Beach Road in Val Caron.

Lifeguards are on duty to supervise the sandy beach seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the height of the summer. The beach is a great location to go for a swim, play in the sand or enjoy a picnic. For those who wish to take their boat out on Whitson Lake, there is a boat ramp conveniently located down the road.

The City is in the process of developing a 10-year plan to include improvements to the beach area and ensure the facilities and access routes meet accessibility requirements.

Let us know what you like best about your beach and what kind of improvements you think should be included as part of the 10-year plan. Your feedback will be taken into consideration as the plan is developed.
