Street sign toppers are common in many cities. They build community identity and pride, cultivate an awareness of the significance of the designated area and are a reminder of the diversity of neighbourhoods that make up a city.

The New Sudbury Historical Society has submitted an application to the City of Greater Sudbury to install 49 sign toppers on various streets in New Sudbury. You can view the list of locations here.

Residents are invited to submit feedback regarding the design and installation of these sign toppers. The intent of the sign toppers is to reflect the historical settlement of
