How does it work?
When a notification is issued about a potential safety hazard or concern that is considered an imminent threat to public safety, you will receive a message via voice or text depending on how you requested to receive messaging. If requested within the notification, you can confirm that you have received the message and you will not be contacted by any subsequent methods regarding that particular notification. If you do not confirm, the system will continue to attempt to reach you at all of the contact systems that you have registered.
Sign Up For Notifications
Create an account and add your contact and location information to your profile. The system will accept land line numbers, cell phone numbers, email addresses, TTY services, and fax numbers. All information you provide will be kept confidential.
Stop Receiving Notifications
Should you wish to delete your profile, you may still receive emergency notifications if you have a publicly-available phone number.
